Hairporium exists to help you make better hair decisions. To keep our guides free, some of them contain affiliate links. This page explains what that means and how we keep it separate from our advice.

How Hairporium makes money

Hairporium is run by Hairporium Beauty Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14594900). We earn money in two ways:

• The Hairporium AI Stylist. The consultation is free to start. If you want the complete Hair Plan, it’s a one-time payment of $9.99.
• Affiliate links. Some of our guides link to products sold by other retailers. If you click one of these links and buy something, the retailer pays us a commission.

We don’t accept payment to feature a product in our guides, and we don’t publish sponsored articles.

What an affiliate link costs you

Nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The retailer pays the commission, not you. Prices, stock and offers are set by the retailer and can change after we publish.

How you can tell when a link is an ad

We mark affiliate content so you know before you click:

• Any guide with affiliate links says so in a short line at the top of the page, before the guide starts.
• Product picks are grouped in a section labeled Ad.
• We tell search engines that these links are paid, using the standard “sponsored” tag.

Links to our own guides, to the Hairporium AI Stylist, and to sources we cite are never affiliate links.

What affiliate links don’t change

• Our advice comes first. We write each guide before we choose any products, and the advice would be the same if the guide had no links at all.
• We only recommend products that fit the advice. If nothing we can link to fits, we don’t recommend anything.
• Commission rates don’t decide our picks. We choose based on the criteria on our How We Choose Products page, not on what pays most.
• The AI Stylist has no product placements. Your Hair Plan recommends types and specifications, not paid brands.
• We don’t promote medical or hair-loss treatments. Our product recommendations cover wigs, hair extensions, styling tools and haircare only.

Who we work with

We join affiliate programs through networks such as Awin. A retailer being in one of these programs doesn’t mean we recommend all of its products.
